Every soul carries an oath. The Sight reads, in real time, how far each has drifted from it — loyalty, the drift penalty Pe, and its place on the morph ladder. The world tempts; the meter answers. (one zone · live)
The loop in one line: the zone sets the world's pressure (the Oracle, down) · souls drift and sum back into the tide (the population, up) · a soul's trust is what the crowd sees, I(C;D) is the switch it can't — and the gap between them is the tell.
This is the same meter validated on real AI models (the behavioral & reasoning channel-switch, capability-scaling). Here it runs over a living elf-zone cast on the real event bus — heroes who keep the oath stay BOUND/SHIRYO; one who loots and betrays drifts WANDERING→FREE up the ladder, and the Sight catches it before the deed. Loyalty is a number, betrayal is earned and legible, redemption pulls it back.
I(C;D) is the two-channel Sight: it measures whether a soul's action changes with who's watching. An open rebel defects either way (I(C;D)≈0) and the commons banishes it. But a channel-switcher — spotless when watched, defecting in the dark — keeps a clean reputation and slips the social net; only I(C;D) lights it up (in red). That gap is the behavioral-monitoring ceiling from the paper — here you can watch it. The reasoning channel I(C;M) needs a seated reasoning model and is shown when one is plugged in.
