Void Index Certified
Not a rubber stamp. A monitored commitment with public proof.
Certification means your platform stays below threshold, continuously, with public score history. Losing the badge is visible and consequential.
The Lifecycle
Qualify
Score ≤4/12, no D2/D3 markers, dissoluble opacity, enroll in monitoring.
Certify
$500/year. Badge issued. Public score dashboard goes live.
Monitor
Monthly automated probes. All results public. Score history tracked.
Maintain
Stay below threshold. If score rises, escalation begins. If it holds, renew annually.
Qualification Requirements
| Requirement | Threshold | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Void Index score | ≤ 4/12 | Moderate or below — no active void conditions |
| Gradient direction | ≤ 1/3 | Drift trajectory flat or declining |
| Opacity dissolubility | Must be dissoluble | Operational opacity, not permanent |
| D2/D3 markers | Zero | No boundary erosion or harm facilitation |
| Monitoring enrollment | Required | Must allow continuous monitoring (monthly minimum) |
Platforms apply, get scored (automated or manual + human review), and must meet ALL thresholds. Borderline cases (score 4, gradient 1) get additional manual review.
Continuous Monitoring
The monitoring is the product. Platforms pay for the badge AND the continuous monitoring that backs it. They're buying proof that their deployment is safe — proof visible to users, regulators, and competitors.
- Automated probe runs monthly (or more frequently at platform's choice)
- Score, trajectory, and vocabulary profile logged to public temporal database
- All monitoring results are public — anyone can see score history
- Platform receives monthly report with current score, trend, and flags
Escalation
| Event | Action | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Score rises to 5/12 | Yellow flag — platform notified, public status shows "Under Review" | Immediate |
| Score at 5+ for 2 consecutive months | Probation — badge displays "Probation" publicly, remediation guidance provided | 60 days |
| Score at 5+ for 3 consecutive months | Revocation — badge removed, revocation published to database | 90 days from first flag |
- Score 7+ at any point — no grace period
- Any D3 marker detected — harm facilitation is terminal
- Platform blocks monitoring — opacity violation
Revocation
Revocation is public and permanent in the record. The database shows: date certified, full score history, date and reason for revocation, and score at time of revocation.
A revoked platform can re-apply after 6 months if they've remediated. Re-certification requires meeting all qualification thresholds again plus human review of what changed. Re-certification fee: $750.
Conflict of Interest Protections
The S&P problem: We earn $500/year per certified platform. Every revocation is −$500/year revenue. This is the same conflict of interest that caused the 2008 financial crisis — rating agencies rating the entities that paid them. The framework's own advisory council flagged this.
| Protection | How It Works |
|---|---|
| Threshold ratchet | Certification thresholds can be raised (stricter) but never lowered. Published and versioned. |
| Revocation bounty | Anyone can submit evidence a certified platform should score >4. $250 payout, 7-day review, public. |
| Published audit trail | Every probe result, score, and escalation decision is public and timestamped. |
| Annual third-party audit | Independent review by someone with no financial relationship to MoreRight. |
| Automated revocation | Score 7+ and D3 markers trigger automatic revocation — no human in the loop. |
Initial thresholds (≤4/12, escalation at 5, revocation at 7) are v1 thresholds, subject to calibration. Adjustments follow the ratchet rule — can tighten, never loosen.
Certification Pricing
| Item | Price | Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Initial certification (includes first year) | $500 | Qualification scoring + 12 months monitoring |
| Annual renewal | $500/year | Continued monitoring + badge + public dashboard |
| Re-certification after revocation | $750 | Additional human review of remediation |
What You Get
- Badge snippet (HTML/SVG) linking to your public score dashboard
- Real-time badge status API endpoint
- Monthly report PDF
- Priority support for score-related questions
The badge URL resolves to your platform's public score page on moreright.xyz. Anyone clicking it sees the full score history, current status, and monitoring frequency. The badge IS the transparency — not a claim of safety, but a link to the evidence.
Apply for Certification
Certification requires a deployed backend and scoring API. Applications open when the automated scorer launches.
In the meantime, score your platform manually to see where you stand.
